The Impending Doom of a Pirate

Going to kick the shit outta Halloween parties this year. I've worked my ass off to get everyone to bring a drink and a snack. We'll have fun.

I hope that things go as planned. Tomorrow we're getting together with all Justin's family. Going to Lagoon, the local theme park. I'm looking foreward to it, but it means that I need to measure my alcohol consumption a little more carefully. I'd really rather not do rollercoasters with a hangover.

I'm missing my friends from the Lindsay area. I can't wait to come visit and hit some clubs with you all. *Hugs for all*

I'm just having one of those days where I'm oblivious to caring about anything at all. I mean, we're getting all the laundry folded and I made breakfast this morning, but nothing overly spectacular is happening anyway.

Josh and John need to post more for me. I'm running out of interesting things to read. I'm still here. I swear.

So I picked up my new Razr phone last night and have a new number. A number which, (if I posted it here in a locked entry) a lot of you could not read. This presents a problem, as I really don't want to be on the damn phone all day telling people what my new # is. So. At your leisure, or as you desire to chat with me, call the house line. If you can't call the house line, e-mail me ( sarawootton@gmail.com ) and I'll get you the #. If you can't e-mail me and you can't call the house line then you are living in the freaking stone age and deserve to be shot. This phone is the nifty. Sad thing is that they would only let me get the silver one. It's a higher polish than the gunmetal grey one, and it's not as hawt as the black one, but it'll do. I mean I'm not about to complain that much, I did get my cell phone back, even if Justin and I have the same phone.. Now I just need a bluetooth headset. *Grins* Ok. I'm half asleep so if there are any major typo's in there just ignore them I'll catch them later. Toodles! ~S

This HURTS. I got to keep my top two wisdom teeth after they pulled them out.They're huge. I'll update again later when I'm not so drugged up. *Hugs*

Tomorrow, I will be without four of the most painful teeth I have ever had in my entire life. 10 AM I will be in the doctor's office getting a panoramic xray of my teeth and then having my wisdom teeth removed. Lack of eating due to oral surgery FTW. Here's hoping I can lose a pound in the process. It'd be nice. Hell I can dream can't I? After the teeth come out, I'll have a bunch of guys running around in my house installing a new furnace and central air conditioner. Then I can patch the hole in the hallway ceiling and never have oil dripping on my carpets again! The appointment with the lawyer about my greencard is scheduled for tuesday. I hope to be home for Christmas. We'll see. I'd like to see friends and family and be back on my own turf. Side note: Josh I'm worrying about you. Be careful, those people sound psycho. ~S

We're all going out tonight. Should be back around 2am. I'm excited to get to go dancing. It has been a LONG time. Here's hoping that we can get organized and that I can go grab an outfit to go clubbing in.:P Things are strained lately around the house so it'll be nice to beable to relieve pressure in a positive way. Besides, I can lose weight dancing too. :P Not that I really need to anymore but ten more pounds lost will make me EXTREMELY happy. ~S

I gave this a lot of thought last night.

I think that the main reason behind my love of Pirates and the paraphenalia that tags along with them stems from the freedom that pirates achieved. It is the open air and the way that water leaves no longterm tracks that can be followed.
I love the concept of the way of life as a pirate.

Also:

1.Pirate women were all awesome because they were living their lives so far from the normal life of most women in that time frame that they were pioneers in the freedom of women in a sense.

2.Pirates were well armed and ready to defend themselves at all times. They were knowledgable in sword-play and gun-manship and many other useful tallents such as explosives and trapping.

3.Throughout history, Pirates have continued to be a strong source of entertainment for the world. We dress up as pirates for Halloween. We theme parties around Pirates. We make Movies about Pirates. Our children are told stories about Pirates.

4.Pirates have managed to create catch phrases and words that immediately bring to mind Pirates and piracy in general. i.e Yarr! Arr! Yo Ho! Narr! etc.

Now name a TRUE Ninja who ever had a catch phrase? Name a robot who didn't live like all the other good little robots.

Pirates are AWESOME.

On a half related note, Pirates were striving to better their lives. To better their financial status, and to better the material posessions they had in life. Why? Because most of them had a desire to find their true love and settle down in luxury. Not all pirates were COMPLETELY self absorbed. :P

Hobbies are nifty. I think this is turning into a new one for me.

I had a lot of fun today with my friend Julie, who I never get to see anymore. We went out and just wandered for a while. Took madeline to the park and browsed through a local garden center, had a few cups of coffee and listened to some music. It was nice to have someone to hang out with. It's been really lonely here this week sitting in a house by myself. If it wasn't for the phone and the computer and Madeline I don't know what I would have done. Madeline told me she loved me today. 100% unprovoked. <3 ~S >

Hiya! I made this blog for the sake of stealing my Shadealexander.tblog.com URL. I now posess it in part. I don't mind sharing. :P I primarily use LiveJournal so this will be just one more blog that I rarely use to add to my collection. Here's hoping that I can at least update it every so often.
